Spot the Signs: Uncovering PTSD in First Responder

Spot the Signs: Uncovering PTSD in First Responders

Do You Know How to Spot the Signs of a First Responder struggling with their mental health or PTSD?

On February 28th at 5 PM, join us for a free, powerful 3-hour training session entitled
Spot the Signs: Uncovering PTSD in First Responders.

Presented by Dr. Keven McNeill from First In Tactics, in collaboration with the Dayville Fire Company and the newly incorporated Quiet Corner Peer Support Group.

Dr. McNeill, author of Pushing It Down, shares his journey of overcoming trauma and PTSD as a first responder. This session will equip you with the knowledge to identify the signs of PTSD and take meaningful steps to support those who serve our community.

At Quiet Corner Peer Support Group, we are committed to uniting local fire departments and community members to raise awareness about mental health and discover ways to support and protect our responders. As a non-profit, we proudly offer free training to those who risk their lives daily to help others. CT EMS-certified attendees will be eligible for 3 hours of CEUs from OEMS. Refreshments will be provided.

Special guest: Hope K9-63 “the therapy pup in training” will be present for a meet and greet.
